Snapchat DarkMode

Last year on 2019 google announced system-wide dark mode for android 10 and after that, all app slowly started adopting dark mode recently google play store got updated to add dark mode

After completing this redesign this update is more likely to get on ios first. The things that are most likely to get changed are Discover Page, Navigation Bar, and many more.

Discover Page

The Discover page is arguably the most important part of Snapchat’s application behind the camera interface. It is how Snapchat generates the majority of its revenue and therefore needs to maximize attention. I decided to implement a recommendation section for early content exposure and then built on a category feature.

Navigation Bar

Let’s first discuss this navigation bar. It was determined through the user research that the Maps and Discover feature are two of the least used features on the application. I determined this could be a result of a lack of accessibility and therefore brought both features into the navigation bar. The Maps feature was originally packaged with the camera interface and the Discover page was hidden within the For You page. By providing both features with their own screen space, this will help to bring in more traffic to both features.

Social Page

The Social page was created as a result of unpacking the For You page. The Social page contains a friend’s stories, group stories, and personal subscriptions. It serves as the core of your personally relevant content aside from messaging.

WhatsApp Voice And Video Calls Can Now Have upto 8 participants simultaneously on a single screen.

WhatsApp New Update WhatsApp Voice And Video Calls Can Now Have up to 8 participants simultaneously on a single screen. It is still lesser than 32 participants that Apple FaceTime allows, the 12-person limit that Google Duo now has, Skype and Facebook Messenger Rooms which supports 50 participants and Zoom that allows 100 people in a group call. Although other apps have already on the desktop for a while now so no wonder they can have many participants because of their larger screen size.  WhatsApp group video calls can now have as many as 8 people. That's plenty enough for a mobile size screen format, zoom allows more participants but due to privacy concerns we don't recommend it and at this time video calls are getting more norm for work as well, amidst the work from home due to all this pandemic going on, The company also has the data to prove that user all around the world are using Whatsapp more than ever for messaging and calls. “Over the last mon

ASUS ZENFONE MAX PRO M1 ANDROID 10 STABLE UPDATE DETAILS OUT

ASUS ZENFONE MAX PRO M1 ANDROID 10 STABLE UPDATE DETAILS OUT Many manufactures are recently moving towards stock android, this eases them to update their devices but Asus is proving otherwise with the continued delaying of the ZenFone Max Pro M1 Android 10 update. The device should be running the stable Android 10 at the time of this writing, but the best you can get is the beta version. Released in late January 2020, it has now been three months of testing. Maybe this means they are making sure to release bug-free experience for their device. Given Asus touts the ZenFone Max Pro M1 software as pure Android, it’s hard to explain what is really delaying the development and rollout of the software. Ideally, having few modifications to make to AOSP should directly translate to swift releases, but that isn’t the case here. Soon after the first ZenFone Max Pro M1 Android 10 beta build was released, Asus also released another build for those interested in rolling back to

Google Pixel 4a Camera Samples Leaked, and they look great

Google Pixel 4a Camera Samples Leaked, and they look great Someone with a Google Pixel 4a just tweeted out a few camera samples, and they look great. It’s becoming more and more apparent that Google is planning to announce the Pixel 4a at any time now as more leaks keep occurring with new bits of information. This one comes from a tech YouTuber in Cuba who took to Twitter to post a photo comparison between what they claim is a Pixel 4a and a Redmi Note 7. The images from the Pixel 4a look quite a bit better with less noise and more vibrant colors than the Redmi Note 7. The Pixel 4a is expected to come with a 12MP sensor while the Redmi Note 7 has a 48MP camera. Higher megapixels don’t always lead to better pictures, which is proven here with this comparison (assuming the better photos were actually taken with a Pixel 4a, which can’t be proven from the tweet).
